Willow Leaf Copper verdigris patina pendant.
I love capturing little bits and pieces of organic matter found here in Wisconsin into my jewelry creations. I was able to make some beautiful Willow leaf impressions into molds and then transfer them into metal.
I've added a gorgeous green bead of Connemara Marble from Ireland to this piece, complementing the ancient verdigris patina so perfectly. The patina process takes time and patience, waiting for the colors to develop, bringing the piece to life. The Willow Tree is part of the Celtic Tree Astrology (April 15-May 12) and was held as sacred by ancient Celts and Druids.
The design on the back is my own adaptation of Cup and Ring marks and spirals found in stone carvings in Ireland, Scotland, and other parts of Europe.
I create each piece of metal by hand, my jewelry is earthy, rustic, and organic with intentional artistic imperfections. No two pieces are exactly alike, creating truly one of a kind jewelry.

This handmade pendant is 2 5/8 inches long, 3/4 of an inch across, and hangs at just over 4 inches from the wire bail. A beautiful bead of green/grey Connemara Marble from Ireland accents the earthy bronze tones.
Leather and vegan cord options, along with antique bronze and copper toned chains, are available at an extra cost.

Copper and Bronze jewelry, including pieces with colorful patina, should not be exposed to water. Please do not shower or swim while wearing jewelry as it can drastically change the patina on the metal. All copper and bronze jewelry is treated with a protective spray lacquer to help maintain the appearance of the metal. Normal daily wear can break down the protective barrier in extreme heat and sweat.
Silver jewelry is NOT treated with a protective lacquer. Please use a soft polishing cloth to buff and bring the shine to silver. Do not use harsh chemicals as it will drastically change the patina on the metal.
